Who we are
This site is operated by PLAD Homes, 2450 Hollywood Blvd, Suite 503, Hollywood, FL 33020. It provides the PLAD Builder Certification course, exam, and dealer directory. Questions about this policy or your data: info@pladhomes.com · (305) 363-4035.
What we collect
When you create an account: your email and password (passwords are stored only as secure hashes — we never see them). When you build your profile: your name, company, and location, which appear on your certificate and, if you opt in, your dealer-directory listing. When you sign the confidentiality and reseller agreements: your typed legal name, signature, IP address, and timestamp — these make the agreements enforceable and are kept as signed records in your account documents. As you study: lesson progress, quiz and exam attempts, and activity within the course, used to track your certification progress and issue your credential.
Payments
Checkout is processed by Whop, our payment provider. Your card details go to Whop directly — we never receive or store them. Whop shares with us your email, name, and what you purchased, which is what unlocks your course access. Whop's own privacy policy governs their processing.
How we use your information
To deliver the course, grade your exams, issue and verify your certificate, list you in the dealer directory (only if you opt in), send you enrollment and certification emails, and provide support. Our sales team may contact you about your enrollment and, if you become certified, about reseller opportunities — that's the program you signed up for, not third-party marketing.
What's public
Two things only, both by design: your certificate verification page (your name, certificate ID, and issue date — so clients can confirm your credential) and your dealer-directory listing if you opt in (name, company, location). Everything else stays private.
Who we share with
Service providers that run the program: Whop (payments), our hosting and database infrastructure, our CRM (sales support), and our email provider (transactional messages). Course videos are embedded from YouTube, which may set its own cookies when you play them. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
We use authentication cookies to keep you signed in, shared across pladhomes.com and certification.pladhomes.com so one login works on both. No third-party ad trackers.
Retention
Account and progress data are kept while your account is active. Signed agreements and certification records are kept as long as your credential is valid (and as required for legal compliance), since they're what backs your authorized-reseller status.
Your choices
You can edit your profile anytime from your account page, and your directory listing is opt-in. To request a copy of your data or deletion of your account, email info@pladhomes.com — note that we may retain signed agreements and payment records where the law or an active credential requires it.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll post the update here with a new effective date.
